News: Ambient Media brings summer to Oxford St for Aldo store launch

News from FieldMarketing.com.jpgAmbient Media Worldwide (who also operate under the ‘Ambient Staffing’ brand in the UK) has worked with fashion shoe retailer Aldo to re-open a new concept Flagship location at 309 Oxford Street. To celebrate the re-opening of the largest Aldo store ever, a one-day event was held in store and the surrounding area, featuring special promotions running throughout the day.

Under the campaign theme of “Stay Cool” Aldo is embracing the summer as a state of mind. The slogan was brought to life by promo staff provided and managed by Ambient Staffing, who gave away free ice creams on Oxford Street from a branded ice cream van. A branded taxi also offered free rides to the store where a summer party marked the opening of the flagship store with a free pick and mix station. Ambient promotional staff also gave out an exclusive scratch card for a chance to win a 10%, 20%, 30% or 50% discount in the store or win stylish iphone cases.

The enthusiastic promo team also invited shoppers inside the store to an event which included an all-you-can-eat-pick-and-mix candy station, free swag, manicures and cool tunes by DJ’s Amber Atherton and Work It Girls.
