theatrical new technology experience created to show off the iPad special app
edition of Telegraph newspaper.

any brand event. The Pad Pod has been a challenge both in terms of the smooth
running of the technology and in the provision of articulate promotional staff
that are able to discuss the virtues of both the newspaper and the app. Dan

of the Pad Pod relies on a good technical understanding of networking and Wifi
configurations in the field to give the best possible user experience. Our in the field technicians come from a
background of satellite broadcasting though Xbox Live networking and Apple Mac
/ P.C Specialists for live events. At Hay on Wye we activated an I.P based
network to facilitate the editorial team to produce a daily news paper -
despite there being no broadband in the surrounding areas.”
Soho Events are
also providing staff that are trained and briefed on the brand to demonstrate
the pads, the Telegraph app, and distribute the paper edition of the newspaper
at live events as a part of an ongoing tour.
The Pad Pod was
recently seen at the Hay on Wye arts festival (where The Telegraph is a lead
sponsor) and has summer stops ahead including the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
