About the Company

We offer flexible support for a range of retail companies within the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and DIY retail sector. Due to continual growth, we currently have vacancies for Field Merchandisers in East Midlands working within the FMCG and DIY sector.  If you have had experience of working in a supermarket, pharmaceutical stores or within the retail sector we would like to hear from you. Also we would like to hear from anyone who has POS and Stock Inventory experience.

About the job

Hourly Rate is from: £6.08 per hour  Minimum rate

You will be required to work Up to 55 hours on a 12 hour shift pattern which could be days nights or weekends. You would be working around the UK so you could be away from home on a weekly basis for up to 4 weeks. You would be issued a permanent zero hours contract which does not guarantee a set number of hours each week. Uniform, transport and training will be provided if successful applicants.

Merchandiser work  involves:

• Laying out new stock
• Replenishing of existing stock
• Removing all point of Sale
• Re-profilling shelves
• Removing discontinued stock

Essential Requirements

• Working to tight deadlines
• Willing to work away from home
• Comfortable with sharing accommodation
• Must be prepared to travel around the UK
• Ability to work to deadlines  and targets  Already have this as 1^st point
• Flexibility with regards up to to 12 hour shifts

This is a part-time role that will be located in and around Newbury on a long term basis.

What we are looking for in our ambassadors:

This position requires somebody that has previous demonstration and sales experience, preferably working for a premium brand. A track record of building and sustaining working relationships is a must have along with the ability to communicate to customers at all levels.  It would be an advantage if the candidate is passionate about coffee however this is not essential.

This is more than a retail sales position, our number one priority and commitment is to offer, at all times, a world class service which introduces customers to the world of Nespresso. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales of machines and converting these sales into Club sign ups and coffee orders.

The high expectations that come with this role include a very rewarding benefits package for the successful candidate:

In-Store Sales Demonstrators

In the new retail climate the focus is on creating fantastic brand awareness right the point of sale. Even with big price reductions and engaging displays the customer is still hard to win over! Your role will be to act as a ‘Brand Ambassador’ for our clients, promoting the features and benefits of a product through hands on demonstrations, visuals and most importantly your own passion and personality! Your objective is to get the customer to the till with the product! In addition to this you will be charged with engaging the in store staff with the features and benefits of the product.

You will work with a number of products through-out the year in stores local to you. Full training and support materials will be provided for each campaign.

You will be available to work most weekends, between 9 am and 5 pm and will be able to make your own way to the store.

In addition to the standard pay rates we award bonuses for the highest sales on each campaign.

Ideally you will have a sales or customer facing background. You will have an outgoing personality and be highly presentable.
