Further training, development and assessment will provide progression.  A full valid driving licence is essential.

Roles and responsibilities

• Assemble and relocate display stands and counters in retail outlets.
• Profile shelving, install equipment & implement display options to a high standard.
• Use initiatives to problem solve and suggest resolutions when encountering barriers.
• Lifting and manual handling up to 25 kilos may be involved and additional training will be offered where needed.

Additional information

• Pay will be processed on a weekly basis, one week in arrears

Retail Development Representative

An exciting part time opportunity has arisen to work with Cosine UK Ltd (three times field marketing agency of the year).

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Retail Development Representative to work on our Arla account, working with household brands such as Cravendale milk and Anchor butter.

Your focus will be to improve Arla’s product performance in the top 4 grocery stores, by driving improvements in availability, distribution, compliance and display across product groups.

You will advise the retailer on the latest brand information and marketing initiatives, communicate to your line manager any competitor activity, trade trends and any other relevant information. You will need to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the clients’ product portfolio.

You need to be able to:

•Build effective working relationships
•Always striving to develop oneself and others
•Respond well to change and pressure, with a high degree of flexibility
•Ensure all administration and reporting is accurately completed and sent as directed within communicated timescales
•Ensure that data recording is accurate and transmitted daily

What does the role entail?:

• Part-time sales advisor position within the Independent Sector
• Improving display and distribution of our clients’ products maximizing all sales opportunities
• Advising retailers of new products and promotions
• Ensuring existing and new displays meet high standards and follow agreed plans & negotiating for extra and improved display space 

What are the hours?

20 hours per week to be worked between Monday and Thursday. 

The Pay and benefits:

The Salary is £7.20 per hour with 4 weeks paid holiday pro-rata per annum.  Mileage is paid at 32p per mile for the first 150 miles and 23p after that.  All your other expenses are paid with a valid receipt.

To support our retail client in store and on site with all ordering, management and implementation of Pos materials for the duration of the Project. In addition, will support Carlisle Team Leader & General Merchandising team on site

Objectives

• Attend project briefings and huddles to give accurate progress reports on POS to Clients Format and store teams.
• Demonstrates and practices high levels of customer service on behalf of the client whilst in store
• Identify and problem solve
• Ensure all produced work is accurate and completed to Pos guidelines and timeframes.
• Maintain communication levels with Client, store & Investment team
• Understanding of projects/ directives & scope of works
• Manage IDM & SIMS expectations regarding POS
• Control POS spend and come in under set budget for project
• Check Promo set up, e.g. EPU & Best Buy
• Chase and manage POS deliveries from Pos Supplier
• Accurately check off POS deliveries from Supplier and report shortages
• Place and raise initial, interim & final POS deliveries for all projects
• Installation of extra 10% POS
• Liaise with IIM on POS equipment requirements
• Completion of H&S POS checklist
• Completion of query logs
• Manage and supervise POS implementation team on site

Reporting into a Regional Manager the Night Coordinator will take full operational responsibility for all scheduled merchandising across the UK. This role will cover all evening shifts working 45 hours per week over a 4 night period. Typical working hours will be 8pm-8am working Monday to Friday. The role will also require staying away from home depending upon client work schedules.

Key Purpose:

• Ensure the smooth delivery of client needs on site.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients during out of hours

• Manage any client/field/office issues in your region effectively and in a timely fashion.

• Manage merchandising activity scheduled each night

• Undertake Health and Safety Audits when on site
• Identify and assist in the training and development of field based personnel.
• Ensure field personnel are developed and up-skilled in line with the client matrix system. Liaise with the relevant trainer, Field Development Co-ordinator and/or HR department.
